It is great joy for us at
the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Toronto to welcome you among us in
your second visit to our parish as we express our great love and deep
honour and respect to you and to all members of the Archbishop 0f
Toronto. We as sibling of Abraham who came from Ur of Chaldean ( Genesis
12 : 4-5 ) left our home country Iraq and settled in this great country
Canada are proud for being Chaldean Catholic, true believers in the holy
Trinity: Almighty God the father and our Lord Jesus Christ the Son
through the powerful Parachlete the Holy Spirit, being faithful to the
majesty of the Holy Catholic Church and obedient with love to our
spiritual leaders, as well as being committed and patriotic to our new
country Canada .

It is a fact beyond dispute
that this blessed Church” The Good Shepherd Catholic Church “ was built
through the authentic and loyal efforts of our Archbishop Hanna Zora and
labours and support of all our parishioners firstly and most importantly
with prayers and devotion and lastly with their generous contributions.
However, we shall never forget the strong support and trust that the
Archdiocese of Toronto had offered us through all these years, and here
it is most worthy to give limitless thanks to His Grace Cardinal
Ambrozic for the love and understanding he showed to this parish. At the
same time it is your trust, spiritual support and prayers and kindness
that will empower us to start and finish the second phase of the
construction of our Church that we will promise to be one of the sources
of pride to our Chaldean church and to Archdiocese of Toronto .
Please accept profound
respect and greet love from all of us in this parish as we raise our
prayers combined with the prayers of all faithful Catholics in the
Archdiocese of Toronto to the Holy Trinity and the blessed virgin Mary
Mother of God And Saint Joseph the Holly Family to grant your Grace and
all clergies working in the vicinity of Toronto prosperity, good health
and happiness.
Finally as we are living in
this Holy Period of Lent, we ask that redemption and resurrection of our
Lord bring peace, joy and economic improvements all over the world.
