P

raying the Holy Rosary gives us a light of God, and we receive many of His graces to helps us staying away from sin, helps us to become holy in our speech, actions, thoughts, and to strengthen the faith in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Our blessed mother Mary helps us to trust in our Lord Jesus, helps us to obey his commandments, teaches us how God is merciful, how is God’s mercy greater than our sins, how important is to listen to him and stop offending him and start acting in the image and likeness of God in our daily lives. We can see that at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, when Christ changed water to wine, the holy mother Mary said to the servants beforehand, do whatever He tells you. (John 2:5) we see in the Gospel of John, our mother Mary wants us to do God’s holy will by obeying his commandments.

 The late Pope John Paul II say’s : Mother of God teaches us to go continually to our Lord Jesus, if we fall, she help us to rise again, to return to him, by confessing our faults and sins through the sacrament of Penance, which gives peace and healing to the soul as well as to bodies.

By Praying the Holy Rosary, we receive graces from God through the blessed mother Mary,

who is a compassionate mother, who cares for us, protects us, prays for us, and helps us to have pure faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mary is also a great teacher who shows us by her perfect example how to live a life of faith, and we can see that in Gospel of Luke at the annunciation when holy mother Mary replied to the angel Gabriel  “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. “May it be done to me according to your word. (Luke 1:38)

Let’s then fellow Mary’s perfect example by imitating her faith in Christ and her love for him.

 John-Paul II says, Contemplation is about learning Christ, and to do that we go to the school of Mary. The late Pope is telling us that the Holy Rosary helps us to be transformed into the image of Christ, and the Holy Rosary helps us to become holy by contemplating Christ in his action, and following Christ in his life.

The Holy Rosary is a powerful weapon against hell. Praying the Holy Rosary you will feel true joy and true peace that you will receive from God, you will feel God is surrounding you with his love, You will understand that Our Lord Jesus is calling us to be his disciples, to share his glory in heaven, and he is calling us to be his brave followers in the spiritual battle against sin.

 Meditating the mysteries of the Rosary (Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious), is meditating the Gospel “the Word of God”. It helps us to spend time with our Lord Jesus Christ, contemplating in His life from holy birth and childhood, to His passion, death, and His resurrection, to understand his infinite love for us, the love we see especially when we look at the crucifix. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Meditating upon these Holy mysteries, helps us to discover and rediscover God by getting to know Him more, and as results of that we build our relationship with Him (it’s the same thing when we meet a person that we don’t know very well , but after a period of time we get to know him better through continuous relationship!)

 The Holy Rosary is a prayer for peace, and peace is a gift of God, but we must accept this great gift in order to build a peaceful world. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Mathew 5:9).

When you pray the Holy Rosary, you will feel the Holy Spirit working deep in your heart, and start bearing fruits of love, to God, and to your neighbors.

Praying the mysteries of the Holy Rosary makes us love God more, and try our best to avoid insulting Him by committing sins, this however can be achieved by doing God’s will, which will help us to find and understand His unlimited love for us, and how much He wants us to be where He is. Our Lord says “who ever serves me must fellow me, and where I am, there also will my servant will be” (John12:26).

 Holy Mary, mother of love, helps us to focus on Jesus; she leads us to the Eucharist, Bread of life, Body, Blood, Soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Who ever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. (John 6:53-55).

 You will not understand the importance of praying the Holy Rosary, unless you pray it yourself, and with the help of our Holy Mother Mary, who prays for us and with us, she will lead us to Christ our redeemer, and bring us into a closer union with God. Through Holy Rosary you will experience how different you become, and will start to look forward to do God’s Holy will. The Holy Rosary will also help you to understand God’s plan for the salvation of all humanity, and you will finally have more eagerness to pray it.

 Mary, Queen of heaven, invites us to pray the Holy Rosary daily, to avoid sin, to receive a light of God, and to obtain many of His graces which help us to become holy. That’s why the Blessed mother in Her apparitions in Fatima (Portugal), in Lourdes (France), and many other places around the world, asks us to pray the Holy Rosary daily, because she does not want to lose her children but wants us to have an everlasting life in Kingdome of God by encouraging us and helping us to have faith and never lose hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
