“Father forgive them for they don’t know
what they are doing.”
We meditate upon there divine and precious
words with full spiritual and corporal meaning are chosen
from sacred scripture and from the lives of the saints and
martyrs from which and through them and with them the Christian
can grow in virtue and be close to God and to be true disciples
of Christ and to live holy lives in peace.
The perfection of love.
No love is greater than this that a man would
give his life for others. This is the love with no limitation;
this is the love that nobody can understand; this love that
is beyond description; this is the love that never has existed
before; pure love, full of happiness. Jesus died on the cross
for our sins.
St. Steven
“Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked
up to heaven and saw God’s glory and Jesus standing at the
right-hand side of God. ‘Look’! he said. ‘I see heaven opened
and the Son of Man standing at the right-hand of God!” Acts
7:55
This is a sign of the true disciple with
the example of his teacher. He asks to forgive his killers.
“Oh Lord! Forgive them their sin.” He taught us that we have
to forgive those who have sinned against us. To those who
persecute us for the love of Jesus. With this act of forgiveness,
like Jesus’ forgiveness on the cross, this first martyr. If
we do that we will receive blessing, peace from the Lord and
we will have eternal life. “Happy are you when people insult
you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against
you because you are my followers.” Matthew 5:11
Simon Barsabae
Oh faithful, oh baptized don’t worry about
your external clothes but be more worried about the state
of your soul. If you wear God’s armor, you will be protected
against all temptation. You will know which eternal sacrifice
you eat. Be guarded against the devil tempt you as he tempted
Adam make you stranger from the glory of Heaven. Satan wants
to make us strangers from paradise as did with Adam. For that,
pray with us to Christ that His Holy Spirit comfirm the souls
of all of us.
The zeal of this disciple, the leader of
the martyrs of the east, Simon Barsabae. Gives us the strength
and pride to imitate the leader of our Church, our Father
and our patron and the strength to offer our lives to the
love of God who is over everything and to be the witness of
the gospel of the Lord. You can be like the martyrs to accept
the witness of God’s love like Simon Barsabae who was martyred
in 341 AD.
The Fountain of Mercy.
When the Son of Man comes as King and all
the angels with him, He will sit on his royal throne and the
people of all the nations will be gathered before him. “Some
then will be sent off to eternal punishments, but the righteous
will go to eternal life.” Matthew 25:31 and 46
The Richness of Graces
We can receive all the gifts of the Holy
Spirit: the gifts of wisdom and understanding, the gifts of
wonder and awe in your presence.
My dear people these graces of the Holy Spirit
are power and health to our souls in as much as we keep these
gifts in a good way, our lives will be made holy and full
of joy and happiness. The problems and difficulties will go
away from us, especially when our hearts are made tabernacles
of the Lord.
The Sea of theological Virtue
Faith
Faith is a great gift from God that our Lord
gives to everyone who asks and calls Him with a humble invocation.
We all, dear faithful, know how much we need this gift, full
of treasure and benediction, full of graces and truth. If
our faith is to be completed, we need to perform good action
by which Christians remain always close to God and to have
eternal life. On way by which our faith becomes strong and
grows in virtue is by the reception of Holy Communion, when
we receive the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Another
way in which the Faith of Christians is strengthened is through
the prayers of Matins and Vespers, the holy rosary and works
of mercy in which we become closer to God.
Hope (Confirmation)
“He will persist until he causes justice
to triumph and in him all peoples will put their hope” Matthew
12:20 And we will hoped that he would be the one who was going
to set Israel free! Besides all that, this is now the third
day since it happened.” Luke 24:21. Let us, dear faithful,
make our hope in the Lord to be with Him on this earth and
to be protected by Him in Heaven. Make us happy with Him!
Love (unity)
This act of being close to God and to the
church service. St. Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians
13 reminds us to accept everything for the glory of God and
to do everything with charity in the name of God and for our
neighbor.
The Sea of Moral Virtue
Humility
“Happy are those who are humble; they will
receive what God has promised.” Matthew 5:5
Bethlehem
Let us look at Bethlehem where Jesus, the
King of Kings, Creator of the universe is sleeping in the
manger. This divine example gives us the power that always
we have to keep our poverty in spirit. Read all of the beatitudes
for many examples.
Nazareth
Mary’s words are full of love. “I am the
Lord’s servant,” said Mary; “May it happen as you have said.”
Luke 1:38
The Lord chose the Virgin Mary from among
all the virgins to be for him a daughter and mother to His
unique son, our Lord Jesus Christ and the bride to his Holy
Spirit, the spirit of life. This full obedience full of reverence
by which the Virgin Mary taught us to listen to God to the
superiors of the Church in the spirit of humility and reverence
to have a blessed life full of happiness and peace.
“Come to me, all of you who are tired from
carrying loads and I will give you rest. For my yoke I will
give you is easy and the load I will put on you is light.”
Matthew 11:28 and 30.
These words sweet and good are words to give
strength to everyone who is in difficulty. These are the words
that bring down pride and change it to humility. These are
the words that make angry and lazy people peaceful and ambitious,
the words of peace and mercy. “Happy are those who are merciful
to others; God will satisfy them fully”, Happy are those who
work for peace; God will call them children!” Matthew 5:7
and 9
Words of love and unity with Jesus Christ
our Lord. Words that add the fear of God and reverence to
His divine master and to our neighbor, the words of love.
“If you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his
blood, you will not have life in yourselves. Whoever eats
my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise
him to life on the last day.” John 6:53
Patience
And who be patience until the end says the
Lord, shall be saved. This virtues is like the ferment for
our life and grows in us the spirit of knowledge and wisdom
by which we do the good things and reject bad things. We live
in purity and holiness and we bear good fruits dignified by
our Baptism.
All these fountains of virtue or fountains of blessing are
derived from the side which was pierced by the sword and also
from the divine mouth of our Lord Jesus Christ who said, “Father
forgive them theirs sins for they do not know what they are
doing.”
All of us are invited, oh dear faithful in
Christ, to be near Jesus Christ, the only good doctor and
to look to his holy cross when we are kneeling before the
tabernacle. We say” Oh Healer of the sick, heal all of our
diseases, remove us from our all our difficulties and pain.
Cool our anger and take from our hearts all resentment and
sin and give us your benediction and mercy to live with you
in a new life, a life of gentleness, and a life of peace.
With this our action we keep Your divine commandments and
the commandments of your church we can glorify you in this
world and hereafter in Heaven.
Let us imitate our Lord Jesus Christ, gentle
and humble, the good pastor. Jesus light of the world. Jesus,
the Way, the truth and the life, and listen to his sweet and
good voice to follow him in order to have a new life a life
of happiness, a life of good character, life of humility,
full of the act of love and mercy, a life of zealous labors,
a life of true disciple. We say with Simon Peter “Lord, to
whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.”
John 6:68
Let us imitate our Lord Jesus Christ and
carry His holy cross to mount Golgotha where we will die with
him and in His resurrection will rise and will then sit on
His right hand.
Let us imitate our Lord Jesus Christ and
forgive hearts our neighbor’s sins, to receive the forgiveness
and healing from the Lord. Oh father forgive them for they
don’t know what they are doing.
This is the way of blessing lives. Lives
with Jesus for Jesus and living in His divine grace that every
faithful if he keep it and follow it will have rest, happiness
joy and peace in the world, full of problems and difficulties
and the next world will have eternal joy because in both worlds
prayers the Lord and done his will and sanctify His name Amen.
My dear faithful children of church, I close
the article regarding the Love of God and forgiveness of our
neighbors in good example of our Lord, our King and our Savior
Jesus Chris ton the cross at Golgotha. “Father forgive them”
With these words of reverence and honor to our Father in Heaven.
(from the book Mary Daughter of the East). Page 71
+ OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN+
O, good and Merciful Father, in heaven forgive
the sins of your servants who are calling to you.
We broke your commandments and we abandoned
your way and our hearts have neglected charity, reverence
and mercy.
We cry our tears of sorrow all of us return
to you as penitents to give you thanks, O Lord.
From now on we will bless your name and do
your will and until our death we will keep your commands O
father in Heaven.”
